Safeguarding, welfare and professional standards

Safeguarding is central to every aspect of our provision. Our policies explain how we protect learners, maintain professional standards and deliver safe, accountable education support.

How we keep provision safe.

1

Safer recruitment

Tutors complete identity, suitability, right-to-work, reference and appropriate DBS checks before delivering sessions.

2

Professional conduct

All tutors must follow clear expectations covering boundaries, communication, confidentiality, attendance and behaviour.

3

Concern reporting

Safeguarding concerns must be recorded promptly and escalated through the agreed safeguarding procedure.

4

Online and community safety

Online, home, library and community sessions must follow approved safety arrangements and professional boundaries.

5

Attendance and welfare monitoring

Missed sessions, disengagement and welfare concerns must be recorded and communicated through the appropriate route.

6

Data protection

Personal information must be collected only when necessary, stored securely and shared only for legitimate safeguarding or education purposes.
